What You Need To Know

Welcome to the Trading College family! You can find the courses you’re enrolled in under the courses tab on the dashboard. Welcome to the Academy! You’ll find a range of courses available to you, as well as access to our Chat Room where you’ll see our coaches trading live and interact with other students. The first step for you will be to head to the Get Started tab where you’ll find step-by-step instructions on how to get started trading. A new lesson will be released every week, so make sure you keep an eye on your emails to see when your next lesson has been released! If you’d like to see what else we have to offer, head over to the Courses tab to see what’s available to you. If you’re interested in any courses that aren’t available to you right now, just get in touch with Chris in the office who will be happy to help.

Live Trading

You’ll have access to the Chat Room 24/7, with the coaches trading live in the room Monday to Thursday (see times below). We run Scan Club every Monday evening at 7pm (1 hour duration) where you’ll scan the markets with our coaches and other students and together make a hotlist of potential trades for the week. To get updates to your phone you’ll need to download the ProTrading Room app from the app store and enable notifications.

Welcome to the Pro-Trader Programme and congratulations on taking the leap and investing in your trading education. We’re all about empowering the individual here at Trading College. Our guess is you too believe that this is the best way to get ahead, or else you wouldn’t be here. Obviously you’re serious about becoming a consistently profitable trader and you understand that you need the right tools, strategies and support to help you get you through. Course

Have a look in the Pro-Trader Programme tab and you’ll find a step-by-step learning path that walks you through the basics of trading, psychology of trading, as well as the strategies our coaches use. You’ll learn all of this at your own pace, so if you want to soak up all the information in a couple of weeks, you can certainly do that. If you’d rather pace yourself and really go through each section with a fine tooth comb before moving on to the next, that is fine too. The course is self-paced because we understand that everyone has varying amounts of time they can give to their studies, and different trading goals. You will have to complete one section fully before you can move on to the next. We’ve set the course up this way because you need to take particular steps before progressing. Our suggestion is that you go through the course, practise what you learn in your demo account, backtesting your strategies, go back over anything you’re struggling with, then when you’re seeing consistent results, move to a live account. 

Live Trading

On Wednesday’s we run a trading Masterclass at 7pm (1 hour duration) where we’ll go over strategies to help you become a profitable trader, as well as a Q&A to answer and questions you may have. Don’t worry if you can’t make Scan Club or Masterclass, as all of these sessions are recorded and uploaded to your learning hub. You can find these recordings in the Scan Club and Masterclass recordings tab. See, we’ve made it simple!

Group Support Days

We run quarterly Group Support Days where you’re all welcome to come for an extra day of trading with the Trading College coaches to go over strategies, get your questions answered and to meet other students, and us if you haven’t yet. We hold two days in London, one in the north and one in the midlands to make sure that everyone is able to attend. These days are not compulsory to attend and most people will attend 1-2, but you are welcome to all. We tend to run them on a Friday and will provide you with plenty of notice for when and where the next day will be held so you will have enough time to book off work if needed. Keep an eye on the Events tab and your emails to see when the next day near you is.

Software

With your programme you’ll have access to the Pro-Trading System and a range of screeners. Once a payment plan has been agreed and set up with the administration team, we can organise the set up of your software. You have the choice of a number of brokers and chart packages – you can see the Brokers and Chart Packages pages for more information if you need some help deciding. We have no preference of which you choose, but we can only code the software to particular chart packages so be sure to visit the page to make sure you get one that’s compatible. Once you’ve decided on a package and broker we can code your software and have it sent to you and set up on your charts in as little as 24 hours. A member of the coding team will be in touch with your software, and if you would like some assistance installing the software please speak to a member of the admin team to organise an install session.

Welcome to the Mentorship Programme and congratulations on taking this step to becoming a consistently profitable trader. Whether you’ve studied with us before or are new to the family, you’ll know that we value education and believe this is the best way to empower yourself and transform your trading. You’re obviously serious about your trading and either want to become a full-time trader, or understand that you need that 1:1 assistance from real traders. Whatever the case, your coach is there to help you achieve your trading goals. 

Course

If you open your Mentorship tab it may look a little empty to start. This is because we build your course around your trading goals and personality. If you haven’t already, you’ll be contacted by one of the team regarding your personality profile. This is not a test so just answer truthfully. The results will help your coach understand how you trade (are you impulsive, or do you hold back a bit?), as well as how you learn best so they can be sure to structure your sessions in a way that will benefit you most. You first 1:1 will be a fact finding session to go over your personality profile, learn more about your trading goals and what you want to get out of the course. You’ll then have two 1:1 sessions a month that you can book with the administration team. As you progress through your sessions, homework and goals you’ll start to see your learning path filling up.

Group Mentorship Days

We run monthly Group Mentorship Days where you’re all welcome to come for an extra day of trading with the Trading College coaches to go over strategies, get your questions answered and to meet other students, and us if you haven’t yet. We hold these days every month, around the middle of the month, near our office in Teddington. These days are not compulsory to attend and whilst you’re most welcome to all sessions, don’t worry if you can’t make one. We run these days on a Wednesday and you’ll receive an invite with 3-4 weeks notice, with confirmation of the venue about 1 week prior. We ask that you let us know if you can attend so we can be sure we have enough space for everyone. Keep an eye on the Events tab and your emails to see when the next day is.

Away Days

If you’re on the Elite Mentorship then you also receive quarterly Away Days with Lee. This is an extra day of support for you to spend with your coach, either trading or going over your programme. Contact the administration team to book in the days that suit you.
